Meet Brindie! We believe she's a one-year old pit bull terrier and weighs about 40 pounds. This beautiful, happy girl is a bundle of energy and would do best in a home with older kids or adults that can give her plenty of exercise for her zoomies.
She LOVES to exercise and go on jogs or hikes and is excited to meet new dog friends. After a good morning exercise session, she'll sleep most of the day, taking a small midday bathroom break, until her evening walk.
Brindie is a very smart and affectionate dog. She has learned many commands like sit, stay, touch (come), go to your place (crate), and go to your bed. She is working on consistency and some more advanced tricks, and s
he responds best to calm and assertive correction and positive reinforcement.
In the evenings, she would benefit from additional obedience training to keep her mind exercised and aware of who the boss is. Obedience training and exercise will ensure that she respects boundaries and gets adequate sleep time.
