Meet Eveey! Our educated guess is that she is a Pit Bull mix, approximately two years old and about 55 pounds.
This independent lady is not a velcro dog by any means. She’s very affectionate and loves snuggles and cuddles, but knows when she’s ready for some “me time” in her own space.
She’s a quick study, excited to learn new things and very obedient. Eveey does really well on a leash and is a great running partner, and can easily do 5 miles at a medium pace run with no issues.
Eveey prides herself as the sole provider of love, companionship, and joy to you. She can get very assertive when she encounters cats, squirrels, or other dogs and needs time to calm down.
For that reason, she’s looking for an experienced family who’s willing to help her with training, and her fosters report that she’s making good progress already. Eveey would do best as the only dog in the home, and with older children.
