Meet Zena! This gentle and sweet lady is a two-year old shepherd-mix, weighs about 50 pounds, and is housetrained and crate trained. She could use extra training and patience for mouthy/nipping behavior and is heartworm positive, which involves exercise restriction while undergoing treatment. She is getting used to her new surroundings and may need slow introductions to other people and dogs (she would not do well with cats), but is a champion snuggler once she is comfortable with you! ** Zena is in need of a foster who can transport her to medical appointments while she undergoes heartworm treatment.
